Terms of Use

These Terms may be shown to you in translation for convenience. The English version is the authoritative text and governs in case of any discrepancy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Magic Domino! By downloading, installing, or using the Magic Domino™ mobile application, or by using our website and the tournament board you can open in a browser at magicdomino.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These terms help protect both you and us. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use the Service.

You do not need to install anything or create an account to watch a tournament in a browser — there are no accounts at all. Watching is free, and these Terms apply to you while you do it, including the disclaimer of warranties and the limitation of liability in sections 10 and 11. Where these Terms refer to the "App", they mean the mobile application specifically; where they refer to the "Service", they mean the App and the website together.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control.

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Free Trial

Magic Domino offers a 14-day free trial for new Premium subscribers choosing a recurring subscription (Monthly, 6-Month, or Annual). The free trial does NOT apply to the Lifetime Access purchase, which requires immediate one-time payment. You will not be charged during the trial period for recurring subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for your chosen subscription plan.

3.2 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your App Store account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store Account Settings (iOS) or your Google Play subscriptions (Android) after purchase. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled during the active subscription period.

3.5 Pricing

All prices are in US dollars and may vary by country. Prices are subject to change, but any price changes will not affect existing subscribers until their next renewal.

3.6 Play Packs (iOS 26+)

In the game you can buy packs of looks — Tables & Tiles, Frames & Emblems and Celebrations, or all three as The Collection — as one-time purchases. Packs are cosmetic: nothing you buy changes the rules, the computer, a draw or a score. A pack is yours for good on the store account that bought it and can be restored with Restore purchases in the shop. Premium includes every pack while it is active (with Lifetime Access, for good). You can also try a pack free for 24 hours by watching a video ad; a trial ends by itself and is not a purchase.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and are subject to their respective refund policies. We do not directly process refunds. To request a refund on iOS, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com. To request a refund on Android, please visit Google Play or contact Google Play support.

5. Premium Features

Premium subscription includes:

Free version users receive 3 AI counting uses per game and can watch a rewarded video advertisement to unlock additional uses. Free users also have access to basic features with advertisements. Premium provides unlimited AI counting with no ads. The game is free to play: free players may see an ad after a finished game or while waiting alone for players — never during a hand — and can watch a video to play for an hour without ads.

6.1 Names and Conduct When Playing With Others

The game lets you sit at a table with other people. A display name, a photo or a voice note you share is seen or heard by them, which makes it content you publish. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour: no hate speech, slurs, threats, harassment, sexual content or impersonation — in a name, a photo, a voice note or at the table. Names are filtered and photos are checked automatically before they are shown, any player can report a name, photo, voice note or behaviour from the table, reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and offending content is removed. We may refuse, remove or change a name or a photo, and we may decline to relay games for anyone who breaks these rules.

A name is optional. If you choose one, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not impersonate another person. A photo is optional too: use only a photo of yourself, or one you have the right to use, and never a photo of another person without their permission. Photos and voice notes are for players 13 and up. You can block any player from your table; Quick Match will never seat you with a player you have blocked, and blocking works in both directions.

The game is for entertainment. It offers no wagering, no prizes and no real-money play, and must not be used for gambling of any kind.

7. Device Permissions

Available at no cost to all users on iOS 26 or later and on Android: the Game Timer (an optional running clock for games, tournament matches, and tournament totals, which also appears on share cards), joining a Live Share session with a code, and receiving a transferred game.

7.1 Camera Access

The App's AI counting feature requires camera access. For counting, all image processing happens locally on your device in real time, and pictures are never saved, stored, or uploaded to our servers. If you choose to take a photo for your face in the game, that photo is uploaded and checked as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the camera in the App, you grant it permission to access your device camera solely for these purposes.

7.2 Local Network & Nearby Devices Access (iOS 26+ & Android)

Live Share uses your local network to find and connect to nearby devices, which is why iOS asks for Local Network permission the first time you use it, and Android asks for the equivalent nearby-devices permission. This access is used solely to discover and connect to devices you are actively sharing a game with. If you decline, Live Share still works by relaying through our server instead.

By starting a Live Share or Transfer session, you acknowledge that the contents of that game — including team names you have entered — will be transmitted to the devices you share with, and that anyone holding your share code can view the game. You are responsible for who you give a share code to. If you do not want real names transmitted, use nicknames. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what is sent and how long it is held.

The game uses the same local network permission to find friends' tables on your Wi-Fi and connect to them directly; tables opened over the internet and Quick Match also go through our relay. By sitting at a table with other people you acknowledge that your moves and the name you chose are sent to the people at that table. See Playing the Game Online in our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Photo Library Access (Premium, iOS 26+ & Android)

On iPhone and iPad running iOS 26 or later, and on Android, Premium subscribers can customize their scoreboard background with photos from their device. When you select a photo:

By using the custom background feature, you grant the App permission to access selected photos from your library solely for this purpose.

7.4 Microphone Access (iOS 26+)

Voice notes at an online table need microphone access. The microphone is used only while you hold the microphone button, and the note is sent only to the players at your table. If you decline, you can still hear other players' notes and play as usual.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Magic Domino and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. The Magic Domino™ name and logo are trademarks of Magic Domino.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We work hard to make Magic Domino reliable and bug-free, but like all software, we can't guarantee perfection. Here's the legal language we're required to include:

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide a great experience, but we need to protect ourselves legally. Here's the standard liability limitation:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAGIC DOMINO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

12. Modifications to the App

We're constantly working to improve Magic Domino with new features and updates. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time. While we strive to keep the App running smoothly, we cannot be held liable for any changes or service interruptions.

13. Termination

If you violate these Terms, we may stop providing updates, support, or access to Premium features. Since you download the App through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), the respective platform controls installation and removal — we don't have the ability to remotely disable the App on your device. However, we reserve the right to discontinue service or support if these Terms are violated.

14. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our App or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify you through the App or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Magic Domino regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
